The Annual Lincolnwood Drive block party in Evanston, Illinois, celebrates the end of summer and the beginning of the next school year. Children and adults alike, look forward to this yearly event where neighbors, family and friends come together to eat, drink and be merry.
The Fies Family — Andy and Jean — provide the centerpiece of the block party with their slow-cooked, North Carolina pulled pork recipe. The entire block salivates each year waiting on this delectable dish.Everyone else brings side dishes, like macaroni and cheese, salads, veggie dishes, red velvet cake, cheese cake, cup cakes and apple pie. There are plenty of creations to delight any palate, but the pulled pork dish is the highlight of the event and everyone waits for the showpiece to arrive.

Jessica Simpson flaunted her baby bump in her little black dress at the NBC Universal Winter Tour event last night: go Jessica! I’m loving Jessica’s maternity style.
I’m sure she was there to talk about her new show with Nicole Richie, ‘Fashion Star.’ This is one reality TV show that I’m looking forward to checking out (and for the most part, I’m trying to avoid reality TV). Are you interested in seeing Jessica and Nicole as fashion mentors?

TMZ: Justin Timberlake rocks surprise performance In NYC

Justin Timberlake took a break from movies … and “SNL” … and relationship drama — and finally got back to music last night!!!!!
JT rolled over to his Southern Hospitality restaurant in NYC — grabbed the mic and put on an impromptu show while tons of crazy fans went nuts.

Timberlake performed with the band FreeSol … mostly playing the keyboard while the band rocked out some stuff from their new album — though he did grab a guitar at one point and knocked out a pretty awesome rendition of “What Goes Around … Comes Around.”
