Justin to film in Atlanta for Clint Eastwood Film

Justin Month – Jan 1- 31

Originally posted at AJC.com by Jennifer Brett

Justin Timberlake will be in Atlanta soon, to work on the Clint Eastwood film “Trouble With the Curve.”

In the baseball-themed movie Eastwood plays an aging baseball scout looking to mend fences with his daughter, played by Amy Adams, while he casts for new talent.

Entertainment publications including Varietyand Deadline are reporting that Timberlake plays a rival scout with an eye for Adams, too.

While he’s famous for bringing sexy back, the pop artist is quite a good actor as well. He said taking on his role as Napster founder Sean Parker in the movie “The Social Network” was a daunting challenge, but his fine performance was much acclaimed.

We’ll let you know when he’s spotted here in Atlanta.

My oh my. And what a coincidence, since one of your Still*NSYNC Admins lives RIGHT HERE IN ATLANTA.

Let’s face it though… unless he is filming across the street from my office, my chances of seeing him in the flesh are slim.

The Fies Family — Andy and Jean — provide the centerpiece of the block party with their slow-cooked, North Carolina pulled pork recipe. The entire block salivates each year waiting on this delectable dish.Everyone else brings side dishes, like macaroni and cheese, salads, veggie dishes, red velvet cake, cheese cake, cup cakes and apple pie. Video: MFRR! – Joey visits the Chirba Chirba Dumpling Truck

Durham, North Carolina, is known for tobacco, a great minor-league baseball team and incredible southern food. It’s also becoming known as one of the best places in the U.S. for the fast-growing Food Truck Movement. Joey spent the day with one of the new stars of this exciting food-scene in Durham, The Chirba Chirba Food Truck.

Meaning “eat, eat” in Mandarin Chinese, Team Chirba Chirba brings high quality Chinese-style dumplings made from an old-family recipe to the hungry lunch crowds of Raleigh/Durham. Joey rode on the truck and worked the fast-paced lunch hour mob along side the Chirba Chirba professionals.Co-Owners Yin Song, Nate Adams, Ali Safavi and Chela Tu came together while students at University of North Carolina. Their love for Asian food and cultural connections to China prompted them to go into business together.

Twitter and Facebook are a large part of Chirba Chirba’s marketing plan. They tell fans when and where the truck will be on the social media websites. Follow @ChirbaChirba on Twitter and check out their fan page on Facebook at facebook.com/chirbachirba.

JC Chasez: Now with MORE BADASS!

Remember that time when JC was a total Badass and chased a burglar out of his house, armed with nothing but his voice and two fists of fury? Welp, he’s still a Badass, Superfans! Check this article posted at JC-Chasez.net:

NSYNC’s JC Chasez saves baby from falling umbrella at Fontainebleau

Former *NSYNC boy-bander JC Chasez was a hero saving a baby in Miami Beach on New Year’s Day. A helicopter flew so close to the beach in front of the Fontainebleau that the umbrellas in the sand flew up from the force of the rotors. One parasol began hurtling toward a stroller carrying a 1-year-old baby girl. Chasez sprung into action and grabbed the umbrella before it fell onto the child. Hotel security confirmed the incident, and sources say Chasez was “sweet and humble” about his heroics.

He is too awesome for words!
